NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have a lethal offensive backcourt and they have showed it in the pre-season. Klay Thompson was impressive in the first two games and Steph Curry countered with an amazing performance of his own. In the first 90 seconds of the game, Curry was able to fill the stat sheet in several different ways. Curry had 10 points, 2 assists, one steal, one rebound and a block after a minute and a half.

Curry would end up with 25 points, six rebounds and six assists, but most of this damage was done at the start of the game. Dave Shore of 710 ESPN Los Angeles tweeted out a picture of the official play-by-play and Curry’s name is hard to miss:

Curry is an all-around player and he didn’t need long to prove that against the Lakers. Curry is a quickly asserting himself as one of the elite players in the NBA and he’s going to have the numbers to back it up. Curry is primed to be an All-NBA First Team selection and a potential MVP candidate.

Curry and the Warriors now have to travel to Des Moines, Iowa to take on the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, October 16th.
