When Steph Curry was selected seventh overall in the 2009 NBA Draft many believed he had gone too high. The Warriors supposedly reached for the point guard out of Davidson, but that sentiment did not last long. Curry proved to be an efficient NBA player in his rookie season, but every year since he’s been drafted he’s improved and his numbers speak for themselves.

As he enters his sixth year in the NBA, Curry has now cemented himself as one of the best all-around players the league has to offer and the Warriors have surrounded him with enough talent to make this team a championship contender.  Curry might not be at the level of LeBron James or Kevin Durant, but he’s getting very close.
