While it’s not a done deal yet, it appears that former Belmont Bruin and European league veteran Alex Renfroe will be joining the Warriors for their 2012-2013 training camp. The deal was first reported by Sportando.

Renfroe — born in Nashville, Tennessee — is a 6’2′, 165 pound combo guard who has played on three different European teams — including teams in Latvia, Italy and Croatia — since his last season at Belmont (08′-09′).

Renfroe was named Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American and Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year for his efforts in the 08′-09′ season.

During his two seasons at Belmont, Renfroe averaged 25.7 min (67 games), .538 FG%, .345 3P%, .644 FT%, 12.5 PPG, 5.6 RPG and 4.35 APG.

Through his entire college and pro career, Renfroe averaged 12.9 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 4.7 APG and 1.3 TO in 30.6 min (206 games).

In 09′-10′, Renfroe was named the MasterCard Baltic Basketball League (BBL) Most Valuable Player playing for VEF Riga.

In 10′-11′, Renfroe was named to the Eurobasket.com Croatian A1 League All-Imports Team.

Excellent information however I’d like to let you know that I think there is problem with your RSS feeds as they seem to not be working for me. May be just me but I thought overall I would cite it.

Nice lay-up reel. Dude looks a bit small. Don’t know if he is NBA ready. Do we even have an open roster spot ???
