The Golden State Warriors have four players representing the Bay Area at the Team USA training camp in Las Vegas. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson have a real of shot of making the final 12-man roster, but will have to beat out some great young talent to do so. Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes are part of the Select Team, which compete against the national team hopefuls and help them prepare for the tournament in late August.

Team USA has had three power forwards withdraw from the team recently, which means Jerry Colangelo and Mike Krzyzewski could be looking to the Select Team for depth the power forward position. Today was the first the day of training camp and Green found himself on the wrong end of a rim rejection. Green drove the middle of the lane and was looking to finish with an emphatic dunk, but Detroit’s Andre Drummond had other plans and was able to cleanly reject Green.

This won’t hurt Green’s chances of leaving a good impression, but look for him to get even soon. In case you haven’t seen it, check out the NBA’s Instagram post:

d green is one of the most under rated player, he should come out this coming season provided he will be given more playing time.
