The NBA is back, which means the moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. The Warriors will be taking on the San Antonio Spurs tonight at Oracle Arena and we finally get to see Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green play a meaningful game. Yes, they played in the pre-season, it’s simply not the same.

Before we get started, we wanted to weigh in on the season and give our predictions for the playoffs and individual awards. Here’s our take on the 2015-16 season:

1. Warriors regular season win total:

Andy Liu: 70.

Jordan Ramirez: 69-13.

Saam Esfandiari: 67.

Sheed: 67-15

Jesse Taylor: Part of me wants the Warriors to coast during the regular season so they’re in better shape during the playoffs. But the other part of me wants them to flip a giant middle finger to the league, fans and media by breaking last year’s single-season wins record while winning the 2017 NBA title. I can see them going 67-15 or 75-7. To keep the spirit of #ArrogantSZN alive, I’m going with 75-7.

2. West playoffs:

Andy Liu: GSW, LAC, Utah, SAS, Portland, Houston, Memphis, OKC.

Jordan Ramirez: Warriors, Clippers, Spurs, Blazers, Thunder, Jazz, Rockets, Grizzlies.

Saam Esfandiari: In order: Warriors, Clippers, Spurs, Rockets, Portland, Utah, Memphis, OKC.

Sheed: Warriors, Utah, Clippers, Spurs, Grizz, Houston, Portland, Minny.

Jesse Taylor: Warriors, Spurs, Jazz, Clippers, Thunder, Trail Blazer, T-Wolves, Rockets.

3. East Playoffs:

Andy Liu: Cavs, Celts, Pistons, Pacers, Raptors, Hawks, Wiz, Hornets.

Jordan Ramirez: Cavs, Celtics, Pacers, Raptors, Pistons, Hawks, Bulls, Knicks.

Saam Esfandiari: In order: Cleveland, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Washington, Detroit, Indiana, Charlotte.

Sheed: Cavs… rest is Poverty.

Jesse Taylor: Cavs, Raptors, Celtics, Hornets, Pistons, Bulls, Wizards, Hawks.

4. WCF:

Andy Liu: Jazz-GSW.

Jordan Ramirez: Warriors-Clippers.

Saam Esfandiari: GSW v. LAC.

Sheed: Warriors-Clippers.

Jesse Taylor: Warriors-Clippers.

5. ECF:

Andy Liu: Celts-Cavs.

Jordan Ramirez: Cavs-Pacers.

Saam Esfandiari: Cle v. Who gives a F.

Sheed: Cavs-Bye.

Jesse Taylor: Cavs-Raptors.

6. Finals:

Andy Liu: Cavs-GSW: GSW in 5.

Jordan Ramirez: Cavs-Warriors. Warriors in 6.

Saam Esfandiari:GSW v. Cle, GSW wins.

Sheed: GSW in 4.

Jesse Taylor: Warriors-Cavs: Warriors in five (like it should have been last season).

7. MVP:

Andy Liu: LeBron James.

Jordan Ramirez: KD.

Saam Esfandiari: LeBron James.

Sheed: KD.

Jesse Taylor: Kawhi Leonard – The Spurs never seem to go away and this year it’s going to be because of Kawhi Leonard. He’s going to have a monster year and lead them to a great regular season.

8. ROY:

Andy Liu: Joel Embiid.

Jordan Ramirez: Joel Embiid.

Saam Esfandiari: Dario Saric.

Sheed: Kris Dunn.

Jesse Taylor: Ben Simmons was the heavy favorite until his injury. Now it’s anyone’s guess. The sports world needs a good “Buddy” – it’s been too long. I’m going with Buddy Hield.

9. 6th man:

Andy Liu: Andre Iguodala.

Jordan Ramirez: Andre Iguodala.

Saam Esfandiari: Eric Gordon.

Sheed: Iggy.

Jesse Taylor: Jamal Crawford has won this award three times due to his scoring numbers. But last season, the award deserved to go to Andre Iguodala – by far the most valuable player off the bench in the NBA. With Durant on the Warriors, expect Andre’s scoring totals to be even lower this season. However, his playmaking ability and defense will still shine and NBA voters will make up for last year’s miss by giving the award to Andre.

10. DPOY:

Andy Liu: Kawhi Leonard.

Jordan Ramirez: Draymond Green.

Saam Esfandiari: Rudy Gobert.

Sheed: Dray

Jesse Taylor: Expect back-to-back DPOY winner Kawhi Leonard’s offensive stats to increase more this season, giving NBA voters an opportunity to throw the two-time runner-up Draymond Green a bone. His scoring will go down, but Green will be forced to step up defensively with the loss of Andrew Bogut, making him a justified selection.

11. Coach of the Year:

Andy Liu: Brad Stevens.

Jordan Ramirez: Terry Stotts.

Saam Esfandiari: Tyronn Lue.

Sheed: Thibs.

Jesse Taylor: Quin Snyder. After 40 wins last season, look for the Jazz to make a jump this season and arrive on the scene as a contender for second place in the Western Conference (nobody is contending for first place because “We Got KD Tho”). The NBA will award Snyder for the Jazz’s improvement.

12. Dray Techs?

Andy Liu: 10 (13 last year)

Jordan Ramirez: 12.

Saam Esfandiari: 15.

Sheed: 11.

Jesse Taylor: Forty-two to break Rasheed Wallace’s single-season NBA record. Just kidding. He had 13 last season, and I expect that to decline thanks to ESPN’s Ethan Sherwood Strauss making him feel guilty (not really because of Ethan but it is something he is working to improve). My prediction is 11.

13. Highest individual scoring game for a Warrior, and which one:

Andy Liu: Stephen Curry, 60.

Jordan Ramirez: KD, 57.

Saam Esfandiari: KD, 63.

Sheed: KD, 65.

Jesse Taylor: Kevin Durant’s career high is 54 points against the Warriors. He’ll make up for doing his new teammates like that by scoring 55 in a game this season. Curry and Klay will also have high scoring games, but Curry is going to make sure his new teammate gets to shine and it’s going to result in a few crazy scoring explosions.

14. KD/Steph/Klay all go for over 30ppg in same game?

Andy Liu: Yes, why not?

Jordan Ramirez: Yes.

Saam Esfandiari: Yes. They are all capable, it won’t happen often, it might not happen more than once or twice, but i think it’ll happen once.

Sheed: Yes. 7 times.

Jesse Taylor: If Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Aaron Brooks of the Rockets could each score 30 points in the same game in 2010, then KD, Steph and Klay can for damn sure do it. Probably a few different times this season. I’ll say five.
