Kevin Durant has officially been with the Warriors for nearly two months now, but the opinions coming in about his relocation haven’t slowed down.

Seemingly every NBA legend at this point has weighed in on Durant’s decision to join the Warriors, and somehow it had taken almost two months for somebody to ask Kobe Bryant about it.

That somebody happened to be radio host Jim Rome, and Bryant had a very enlightened answer for him.

Not only did Bryant say that he fully supported Durant’s decision to join the Warriors, but also seemed to question the competitive spirit of any opposing player who was severely put off by it.

Bryant said that as competitors, it’s now up to the players in the NBA to fight through adversity and seek to figure out a way to defeat this seemingly invincible Warriors team.

Bryant implied that any player who thinks Durant joining the Warriors is unfair isn’t being a tenacious competitor.

Bryant won 5 NBA championships in large part to his fierce determination to overcome adversity, so he’s the perfect person to speak on this subject.

Oklahoma City Thunder fans still haven’t seemed to have gotten over their once beloved star player leaving them.

A fan has created a petition to change the name of Durant, Oklahoma to Westbrook, Oklahoma to honor the player more “loyal” to the state.

Russell Westbrook recently signed an extension with the Thunder, but what will happen if he ever leaves the team?

The Durant hatred has simply gotten out of control. Leaving a team to join another organization is that player’s right as a free agent. Durant did nothing wrong.

Durant, Oklahoma has been Durant since the 19th century, when it was named after Dixon Durant, a Native American who lived in the area. Why do they hate Native Americans?
