NBA: Milwaukee Bucks at Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors not only beat the Memphis Grizzlies, they embarrassed them on their own home court. On a second game of a back to back, the Warriors went to Milwaukee and earned another quality double digit win.

The Warriors have won 60 games for the first time in franchise history and have assured themselves home court advantage in the Western Conference. The Warriors have been the best in the regular season, but the journey is not over yet.

Steph Curry is one of the best players on the planet and part of what makes him so special is his intelligence. According to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, Curry has his team focused on the bigger prize:

The Warriors are a young team, although they have played in the postseason these last few years, they have not gone past the first round. This regular season success is new to the Dubs and for the first time they will going into the playoffs with a target on their back.

Curry and the Warriors must keep their eyes on the prize. They have the deepest team in the NBA and it’s going to be difficult to beat them in a seven game series. Chasing an NBA championship can be grueling and although they are receiving all this praise, they must play as if they were chasing the 8th spot in the West.

This is unprecedented territory for the Warriors and they are going to need to be on point if they plan on advancing in the Western Conference. Curry knows it and the team knows it.
