The Warriors got a scare when Steph Curry hit the deck hard in Game 4. Luckily, he returned and has been playing well.

Today, the other Splash Brother was Trevor Ariza’s next victim. It was not on purpose, but Ariza was once again involved. Klay got Ariza to bite on the fake and Ariza knee met the side of Thompson’s face.

As you can see from the Vine below, it definitely shook Thompson and he was forced to leave the game and head to the locker room:

At first glance, you were sure Thompson had a concussion. Ariza’s knee got clean contact on Thompson’s face, but to everyone’s surprise, Thompson returned to the bench.

They reported that all he had was a laceration on his face, but before he was able to check back into the game, his began bleeding from his ear, which was cause by the laceration. Thompson had to go back to the locker room to get the blood to stop.
