The Warriors got quite a scare when Steph Curry came crashing down and hit the floor hard in Game 4. Luckily, he was not injured and was able to play in today’s Game 5 win against the Rockets.

Today, the Warriors got another scare, but this time it was the other Splash Brother. Trevor Ariza’s knee made clean contact to Klay Thompson’s head and he looked shaken up. Thompson was forced to leave the game.

While Thompson returned to game, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, Thompson is suffering from concussion like symptoms following the game:

Thompson tried to return to the game but felt blood in his ear. He had to go back into the locker room and received three stitches before returning to the sideline.

The Warriors initially called the injury a right ear laceration. Thompson played 22 minutes in Game 5 and finished with 20 points on 8-14 shooting from the field in the 104-90 win.

This ends up being the only negative of the night as the Warriors are headed to the NBA Finals for the first time in 40 years. The two-way guard will get a full week of rest, as the Warriors will host the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on June 4.
