Riley Curry made another visit to the podium after the Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets Wednesday night to advance to the NBA Finals.

Accompanied by her father, Steph, her trip to the interview room was yet again, memorable.

She sang, moved all over the set, and interrupted her dad, along with other acts before Bob Myers was able to get a hold of her.

It was fascinating to watch.

Forget what a few writers are saying for a moment. Most of them write in games while 20,000 fans are screaming, anyway. They can handle an adorable kid in the press room.

For a some of the media, Riley’s appearance developed their stories. It made headlines during her first stint with Steph in the postgame session and continues to after her second trip.

The MVP is one of the most media-friendly players in the league. He always gives thoughtful, long answers and doesn’t beat around the bush to avoid anything. He is respectable and everyone realizes it.

No one from the Bay Area media complained about Riley attending either of the press conferences. The rumblings came from the national press.

Players usually bring out their kids during losses to avoid getting hit with the difficult questions. Sometimes, the children are used as human shields. In other cases, players bring them out because they are on the road most of the time and have limited moments with their loved ones.

The first time Steph brought out Riley, it was after a win. The second time, it was when the Warriors clinched the Western Conference title and a trip to the NBA Finals. Both times, Curry was very cooperative with the media despite his daughter being in the room.

Regardless, the antics performed by Riley are fun to watch and shows the personal side of Steph.

“I feel like she’s taking advantage of the moment for sure,” Curry said when asked about bringing her daughter to the podium for a second time this year.

Curry is the league’s Most Valuable Player this year and is constantly entertaining every sports fan. He carries himself well off the court and serves as a responsible role model for the youth.

Riley received love from the jumbotron after the game when the Warriors were celebrating on the court. She did her dad’s popular chest pound and pointed up after putting on his NBA Finals snapback.

In a season filled with mostly joy, Riley said it best after the game during the press conference by using a quote from a recent Big Sean song.

“Way up, I feel blessed.”

At this point, no Warriors’ fan feels less than that.
