The Golden State Warriors won’t get their championship rings until the start of the 2015-16 NBA season. They will raise the championship banner in the season opener and that’s where the players will finally get their bling.

For the time being, the Warriors have to settle for championships hats and shirts, which is not too bad considering the variety of option available to them. However, that was not enough for one particular player.

Draymond Green is the heart beat of the squad and he’s also been the most entertaining person to watch since the Warriors won the title. Green needed something to commemorate the Warriors winning the championship and he couldn’t wait until late October. Green posted a picture on his official Instagram of himself and a WWE World Championship belt that was customized specially for Green:

Regardless if you’re a wrestling fan, this is pretty cool. There’s nothing like belt across your waist that shows that you are a world champion. Green’s belt is even better because it includes two Warrior logos so that no one could confuse it for a regular wrestling belt.

Don’t be surprised if you see Green walking around the Bay Area with the belt around his wait or over his shoulder. Maybe he can use the belt next season if Dellavedova dives at his knees again, but then it would ruin the belt.
