The Golden State Warriors are enjoying the spoils of being World Champions. All of them will likely be treated like royalty in the Bay Area this entire Summer and beyond. Even for players who aren’t used to being in the spotlight, they will be much more recognizable now that they are champions.

For Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, their only becoming more popular with every passing day and more sponsors will come knocking on their door.
The Splash Brothers are now appearing in movie commercials with some of the most lovable characters. For all you who are familiar with the animated “Despicable Me,” the little minions who appear in that movie will now have a movie of their own and the Splash Brothers are featured in their promo. (Watch video above)
The ad is very similar to the famous Nike commercial that came out in the early 2,000’s and it was a hit. The Minions promo pays homage to that with Curry and Thompson dribbling the ball to the beat. One little minion wants to get in on the action, but can’t get the ball as the professionals keep moving it too fast
Finally, Curry sees the little minion is sad because he can’t get the ball. The MVP offers him the basketball and the minion ends up bouncing it off his head. It’s pretty amusing.
