Andre Iguodala has been phenomenal for the Warriors in the NBA Finals. In Game 4, the Warriors were facing a 2-1 deficit and needed to regain home court advantage. Coach Kerr took a shot and reinserted their most consistent player of the series into the starting lineup, Iguodala thrived and helped maintain their uptempo play from the start.

With his impressive play, he has earned the NBA Finals’ top individual award. He did not start a single game coming into the NBA Finals and he’s been officially named the NBA Finals MVP:

Iguodala averaged 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4 assists per game during the Finals. He also had to guard the best player in the planet in LeBron James. When Steve Kerr went with Iguodala instead of Bogut, it completely changed the dynamics of this series and the Warriors never looked back.

Iguodala started three games and the Warriors won each and every one of them. He’s not known for his shooting, but hit come clutch shots during the course of this series. Iguodala was the ultimate player this season as he took a lesser role coming off the bench, but he stepped up when the Warriors needed him the most and now he’s the Finals MVP>
