With all the talk on the Golden State Warrior’s success, many have overlooked the Warriors battle with injuries. In last night’s game versus the Portland Trailblazers, Andre Iguodala’s ankle was sprained after Damian Lillard dove for the loose ball. Iguodala’s ankle was rolled and pinned into an awkward position.

Today, Iguodala was scheduled for an MRI and the results may have the Warriors fans a bit worried. According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo News, Iguodala will be out at least two weeks with a significant ankle sprain:

The good news is that the ankle is not broken. In two weeks, the month of March will be concluding and in April, the Warriors will have seven games left in the season. As the second tweet mentioned, Coach Steve Kerr will lean on Brandon Rush to temporarily fill the Iguodala’s role.
