Leandro Barbosa is looking to revitalize his career with the Golden State Warriors this season after a couple of injury riddles seasons. The 32-year-old shooting guard was known for his quick first step and hopes to be a valuable weapon off the bench. The Warriors had trouble with their second unit last season and Barbosa’s offensive game should help him establish himself in the rotation.

Barbosa has spent eight seasons with the Phoenix Suns in his career, which means he has played plenty of games at Oracle Arena when the Warriors hosted the Suns. Barbosa has had plenty of experience with the Golden State fan base over the years, but he is looking forward to having them on his side this season. According to Jordan Ramirez, Barbosa admits that playing at Oracle Arena is tough as a visiting team with such an electric crowd:

It is no secret that the Warriors have some of the best fans in all of sports, but Barbosa’s comments just come to show the impact they have on opposing players. Even when the Warriors were struggling they still did a great job of supporting their team. The hostile crowd should be very excited about the 2014-15 season, the Warriors look like a championship contending team and they are going to need all the support they can get.

If Barbosa is able to stay healthy and produce off the bench, he will have 19,596 on his side cheering their hearts out at every home game this season. Expect more Bay Area Brazilian fans at Oracle this season.

Ridiculous? A police officer once told me miami wr duper and Clayton mouthed off at a press conference at their hotel in oak town before the super bowl. They were the greatest and would embarrass Ronnie Lott and Eric wright etc….A bunch of Oakland young men took offense and told them in so many words they would not make it to their rooms let alone out of Oakland. The press conference ended abruptly as the wrs left the ballroom very quickly. Go warriors!
