Guy Rodgers

Rodgers was incredible with the ball; he is the Warriors franchise leader in assists. He led the league in assists twice in 1963 and 1967 and was second in the league in assists on six different occasions. He actually played a big role in Wilt Chamberlain’s record 100-point game. 40 of Chamberlain’s 100 points came off 20 assists by Rodgers.

He was an All-Star four times, led the Warriors to the playoffs four times and even got the Warriors into the Finals once. Unfortunately, the Boston Celtics powered through the Warriors and eventually won in five games.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014 and will go down as one of the better point guards in Warriors history, and the best of the Philadelphia and San Francisco Warriors days.

all good guards, but we need better backup guards for 2015. Why not steal Langston Galloway or sign Delonte West?
