Quick clip here. Stephen Curry was somewhat of a bystander (3-10, 8 assists) as Nate Robinson ran point against the Blazers. Since Curry can certainly produce as an off-guard sniper, I wondered after which role he preferred, and if he had a preference at all.

Something to note going forward, in terms of future possible GSW moves: Curry prefers PG.

Asbme has a point. Curry can shoot but sits too much. Robinson is good too but I find him not experienced when it comes to crunch time. Maybe Jackson wants to prevent injuries to Curry but it’s still not fair to Steph. He is a lot of talent he can use. Maybe on another team? Yet he and Monta both are beast.

Amazing to me how Warriors’ coaches continue to find new and inventive ways to not leave Curry in control during crunch time, despite the team’s clear belief that he is the PG of the future and an integral building block. Last year it was the inexplicable playing of Acie Law by Smart, now Jackson is either leaving him on the bench or putting the offense in the hands of Robinson or Monta. Go figure. What’s the worst that could happen?

Thank you so much, Brian. Maya Moore wasn’t on my radar but I have two daughters so that’s rcfpeet. I can catch her this summer in the WNBA. Thanks again, Brian. I really appreciate what you do on this blog and in your books. I look forward to meeting and learning from you someday.

There IS that, though I liked Crawford as a Curry matchup. Jamal’s overhead shot is uncontestable anyway, and he can’t get to the rim.
