NBA: Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets

Steph Curry has elevated his game to another level this season. On top of leading his team to the best record in the NBA, he has become a daily highlight reel and Dub Nation is loving it.

Curry has become a household name across the nation and that’s because every time he has the rock, something special is bound to happen. Whether it’s threading the needle for an assist or knocking down a triple with the fastest trigger in the game, Curry constantly has you off your seat.

Curry’s style of play has made him a fan favorite. He’s got the second most popular jersey in the NBA and only trails LeBron James in All-Star fan voting this year. He was selected to his first All-Star game last season and that will be a familiar place for him for the next decade.

Against the Houston Rockets, Curry didn’t disappoint. With four and a half minutes left in the final period and the Warriors already up 117-94, Curry delivered one of the filthiest assists of the year. After deflecting an outlet pass, Curry chased down the ball and dished out a no-look behind the back pass to Harrison Barnes and he finished with an emphatic dunk.

That was the dagger and it silenced the Houston crowd. It’s just silly, Curry continues to dazzle the audience with his awareness and precision. Curry is giving the fans what they want. He’s putting on a show, even when the game is no longer in doubt. Curry is gaining new fans by the minute and they’re not necessarily Warrior fans, but he’s just that good.

That was arguably the best pass of the year. Curry still hasn’t reached his full potential and that’s the scary part, at least for the opposition.

and how in the world did Curry see Barnes. He never looked back to see if anyone was there.

The real question is, how did Harrison Barnes know to go to the basket anticipating the pass? That’s almost as amazing as the pass itself.
