Both teams have had plenty of time to prepare for the NBA Finals. The extra time has allowed the players to spend some time doing something other than basketball as they wait to face LeBron and the Cavs on Thursday.

Steph Curry spent his Friday evening with his family at AT&T Park to see the Giants take on the Atlanta Braves. Curry also got a chance to meet the great Willie Mays and the capacity crowd gave the MVP a warm welcome.

The Oakland Athletics were feeling a little left out, so Klay Thompson decided to show his support by attending their game against the Yankees this afternoon. Like Curry, Thompson was shown on the big screen and the entire stadium cheered. The official Twitter account of the MLB got this picture of Thompson sporting an A’s hat at the game:

Not only was it good to see Thompson for the first time since Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, but his presence proves that his concussion symptoms are likely not an issue anymore. With four days until Game 1 of the Finals, all signs point to Thompson being in the starting lineup.

Curry’s attendance at the Giants game was criticized because the Warriors play right next door to the A’s. Thompson’s presence at the Coliseum today shows the Warriors do support their neighbors in Oakland. Truthfully, this should not be an issue, the Warriors are the Bay Area’s team and everyone needs to be supportive and root against Cleveland.
