NBA: Charlotte Hornets at Golden State Warriors

The Golden Warriors are led by Stephen Curry to take on the Charlotte Hornets. After a tightly contested first quarter, the Hornets got hot in the second and took the lead. In order to extend their winning streak, it would be an uphill fight for the Warriors.If you missed the game, we have you covered:

1st Quarter

The Warriors drew first blood off a Stephen Curry and Andrew Bogut pick and roll but began slowly as the Hornets rushed out to an early 8-5 lead. After missing his first four shots, Klay Thompson gets a jumper to fall. The game has been a slow half court pace which favored the Hornets. Golden State kept the defensive pressure up and forced the Hornets to go on a five minute scoreless drought. At the end of the first the Warriors led the Hornets 28-24.

2nd Quarter

The bench began the second quarter with a Livingston, Barnes, Rush, Iguodala, Speights, lineup. The starters came back on the floor with a one point defecit behind the Hornets’ hot shootng. Iggy got on the board with a three pointer to extend the lead to 41-37. Steph was forced to sit after picking up his third foul. The Hornets were scorching hot and outscored the Warriors 31-21 in the second period alone. The Warriors trailed 55-49 at the half.
