Scope the Oppostion: The Brooklyn Game.

Preview: After losing last night in Los Angeles to the Lakers, the Nets will try to rebound tonight at Oracle when they take on the Golden State Warriors.

Brooklyn has a quite expensive starting five and gets production out of it.

In order for the Dubs to be successful tonight, they will have to come up with a plan to defend the Nets’ backcourt out on the perimeter and also on the low block where Deron Williams and Joe Johnson will undoubtedly try to take advantage of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Also, Brooklyn’s frontcourt is quite dangerous offensively because Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries will pound the offensive glass for second chance opportunities, while Brook Lopez is a good mid-range shooter as well as a good post up option that could potentially give Warriors fits in the pick-and-pop game and on the low block.

It’s worth noting that Gerald Wallace plays with an incredible motor and makes a multitude of energy plays that often brings his team out of a rut. Considering that the Nets will be playing the back end of a back-to-back tonight, his ability to play hard and bring his teammates along with him for the ride will be an important factor in ensuring the Warriors don’t run them off the court at home.
