Stephen Curry Point Guard

4. He’s the Best Point Guard in the League

Russell Westbrook is phenomenal and Chris Paul is one of the best pure point guards of all-time, but with all due respect, Curry is the best point guard in the league right now

Westbrook doesn’t defend the ball as well as Curry or Paul, which hurts him in this comparison. He’s the best rebounder, though.

Paul is having an under the radar type season, he is keeping the Clippers relevant in the West without Blake Griffin for most of the year. However, he cannot score the way that Curry can.

Curry commands more double-teams than Paul does. He’s the best shooter in the game and has arguably the best handles as well. Given the fact that he’s always giving the defense fits, it opens up opportunities for more players resulting in easy shots for them.

Curry can also play off the ball better than Paul and Westbrook with his tenacity to use screens and make any type of jumper, no matter the difficulty.
