Kevin Durant is being added to a Warriors lineup that already features 3 other star players. Since there’s only so many shots to go around, it’s likely going to mean that they’ll have to sacrifice some of their individual statistics for the greater good of the team.

When the Miami Heat went through a similar experiment, it was Chris Bosh whose sacrifice became most apparent.

Many people are speculating that Klay Thompson is the most likely candidate to see a significant dropoff in statistics because so many of his shots within this offense are created through ball movement.

He doesn’t have the ball in his hands as much as Stephen Curry or Draymond Green do, and with another star player to feed open looks, some of Thompson’s chances might decrease.

He doesn’t seem bothered by that possibility, though. He is secure in his individual ability as a player, and seems to be focusing mainly on team achievements going forward.

It’s a great time to be on such a talented squad, and the Warriors are now the biggest draw in the NBA.

Stephen Curry lead the league in jersey sales yet again last season, and as he becomes arguably the most popular player in the league, Under Armour is projected to rise in status within the basketball shoe market. Behind their spokesman Curry’s ascension as a basketball ambassador, Under Armour has big plans for the future.
