Although this season didn’t end like Stephen Curry would have prefered, he still had a remarkable year in terms of both individual accolades and team success.

Curry has won back-to-back NBA MVP Awards, but last season he notoriously lost the NBPA MVP Award to James Harden.

The media and players’ association shared sentiments this season, though. Curry won the 2016 NBPA MVP Award.

Curry was also honored as “Toughest to Guard” and “Clutch Performer.” Voting took place at the end of the regular season, and the players were clearly in awe of Curry’s exploits during the Warriors’ 73 win regular season.

Leandro Barbosa was given “Teammate of the Year” for the Warriors, and Oracle Arena won the “Best Home Court Advantage” award.

Kevin Durant didn’t win any of the awards, but his former teammate Russell Westbrook picked up “Best Dressed.”

From recent indications, Durant isn’t going to be congratulating Westbrook on either that win or his new contract extension with the Thunder any time soon.

The relationship is strained, but Durant said that he’ll eventually congratulate Westbrook on his new deal with the Thunder.

Westbrook emphasized his loyalty to the organization during his press conference, and also said that he learned of Durant’s decision to leave Oklahoma City via social media.
