The complementary players that will be surrounding the Warriors’ fearsome core of superstars is becoming more clear as the days pass.

Marreese Speights has left to sign a multi-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors didn’t have the capability to give him a contract like that.

The team also announced that they have re-signed James Michael McAdoo to a 1 year contract. This comes just a day after they announced that fellow reserve Ian Clark was returning on a 1 year deal.

The Kevin Durant signing has majorly impacted the construction of this roster, and a very formidable team is being created in the aftermath of Durant’s huge decision to come to the Bay Area.

All in all, 13 roster spots are now accounted for on this new-look Warriors’ squad. It will be fascinating to watch how the front office goes about collecting those last couple pieces.
