Draymond Green was arrested a couple days ago in East Lansing, Michigan for assault, and now the victim is coming forward to tell his side of the story.
Jermaine Edmondson is a cornerback on the Michigan State football team, and he said that his incident with Green carried over from the previous night.
The night before, Green apparently bumped into Edmondson while at another restaurant, and a verbal altercation turned physical when Edmonson claimed that Green’s friends choked him and his girlfriend.
The next night, Edmondson approached Green while at Conrad’s Grill to talk to him, and said that Green punched him in the jaw.
No injuries resulted from this altercation, and Green said that he hopes to speak with Edmondson directly to try to make things right.
The Warriors also announced today that after considering the opportunity, they have decided not to sign Larry Sanders.
The Warriors have no proven rim protector on the roster right now, and although Sanders brought his own risks attached to his past struggles with mental health, he could have provided that skill for the Warriors.
Warriors owner Joe Labob also responded to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s criticism about Kevin Durant joining the Warriors by simply saying “let them talk.”
