Kevin Durant was booed relentlessly in Los Angeles while playing for Team USA just a couple days ago, but that reaction seems like a distant memory now.

Oracle Arena gave Durant a huge ovation as he took the court tonight. The crowd was filled with Warriors fans who’re excited to see one of the best players in the NBA make an already historically proficient Warriors team even stronger.

Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were also given warm receptions in front of their home crowd, but the Durant reaction was especially noteworthy.

He might not have been wearing a Golden State jersey, but it was still an exciting opportunity to see Durant put on a show in Oakland.

Team USA faced little to no adversity this game against Team China, coasting to a dominating 107-57 victory.

It was a slight improvement on their 106-57 win over Team China at the Staples Center on July 24.

Durant scored 13 points in front of the Oracle crowd, Thompson scored 15 points, and Green scored 4 points.

Team USA is thriving right now, but Team Brazil has gotten some bad news regarding one of their most famous players.

Anderson Varejao will likely miss the Rio Olympics due to a back injury. He’s expected to be ready for the regular season after signing a 1 year contract to remain with the Warriors.
