It came down to the final day to lock in playoff matchups. The Golden State Warriors clinched the 1st overall seed with a few games to spare. For their opponent, it took the whole 82 games. The Houston Rockets will join the Warriors for the first round of the postseason.

Beginning on Saturday, April 16, the Oracle Arena will house Game 1. For fans who can’t attend, the game will be exclusively on ABC. Our regulars, Bob Fitzgerald and Jim Barnett will commentate Games 2 and 3 which will be on CSN Bay Area and TNT. Game 4 on Sunday, will be back exclusively on ABC.

WARRIORS ANNOUNCE TV & RADIO SCHEDULE FOR GAMES 1-4 OF FIRST ROUND PLAYOFF SERIES

OAKLAND, CA – The Golden State Warriors announced the initial television and radio schedule for the team’s First Round series against the Houston Rockets, which begins Saturday, April 16, at Oracle Arena.

ABC will have exclusive national television coverage of Saturday’s Game 1, which is scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. tipoff.  Comcast SportsNet Bay Area is slated to televise Games 2 and 3 of the First Round, alongside TNT.  Bob Fitzgerald and Jim Barnett will call the games on CSN Bay Area, joined by sideline reporter Ros Gold-Onwude.  Game 4 will also be an ABC exclusive telecast.

On the radio side, KNBR 680, KGO 810 and KTCT 1050 will combine to broadcast every First Round contest of the Warriors-Rockets series, with Games 1 & 3 slated for 680, and Games 2 & 3 scheduled to air on both 810 and 1050. Play-by-play man Tim Roye will once again be joined by color analyst Tom Tolbert on each postseason broadcast.  In addition to the local coverage, Games 1 & 4 will also be heard nationally on ESPN Radio.

All Warriors radio broadcasts can also be heard digitally in a variety of ways, including the Golden State Warriors Official Mobile App for fans within a 75-mile radius of Oracle Arena, the NBA Game Time App, the NBA.com Audio League Pass, and on Sirius XM.  Additionally the games can be heard across California via the Golden State Warriors Radio Network, which includes KESP – Modesto, KINS – Eureka, KION – Santa Cruz, KRKC – Monterey, KVON – Napa, and KXTK – San Luis Obispo.
