The Golden State Warriors demolished the San Antonio Spurs in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The biggest playoff loss by a Greg Popovich led team, although it was without Kawhi Leonard. Now, the series shifts to San Antonio, where the Warriors would love to make easy work of the Spurs and win the next two games on the road.

Game 3 isn’t until Saturday, giving Leonard and the Spurs plenty of time to rehab that sprained ankle. The Warriors should expect a rowdy San Antonio crowd that will be hoping the Warriors lose for this first time this postseason.

The Warriors will have something to look forward to as well. According to Anthony Slater of the Bay Area News Group, Kerr will be joining the team on their trip to the Lone Star state:

Kerr spoke to the team at halftime of Game 1 and was a big part of that big comeback win, so you know his presence is not only welcome, but needed. We still don’t know if he will be on the sidelines, but at the very least he will be with the team and preparing them for two big games in San Antonio.

Expect the Spurs to come out with their best counter punch. Their bench players should play much better in San Antonio and Popovich will likely have an excellent game plan with so many days of rest in between games. Now, one of his former players will be also in the mix, trying to help his team win.
