NBA: Utah Jazz at Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors claimed their ninth victory of the season after beating the Utah Jazz 101-88 at Oracle Arena on Friday night. Any questions of rust were quickly answered in the first quarter, this team came prepared to play last night. The players have responded well to Steve Kerr and this team’s chemistry keeps growing. Pretty impressive for the first year head coach. Kerr is quickly showing why he was highly coveted this past off-season.

After several days of enjoying the comforts of home, the Warriors will travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder, the first of a five game road trip. Coach Steve Kerr is happy to be hitting the road and he feels it comes at a good time according to Jordan Ramirez:

Coach Kerr understands the nature of an 82 game season and while they currently hold one of the best records in the Western Conference, these long road trips can be instrumental in molding a title contender. This team is still young and it has plenty of room to grow, a task which could be accomplished on this road trip.

The Warriors will play five games in eight days and will visit four different states. The players will be around one another and solely focused basketball for over a week. The Warriors will be entering hostile arenas during this road trip and they must come together to silence the crowd and earn a victory on their home floor.
