Today, the NBA has announced the All-NBA team selections for the 2013-14 season. The Warriors very own Steph Curry was named to the All-NBA Second Team for his efforts this past season. Curry made his first all-star team this year and almost led the Warriors past the Clippers in the first round of the playoffs. This award is well deserved and hopefully only the beginning of many accolades to come for the 26 year old Curry.
Curry averaged 24 points, 8.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game during the regular season. If that is not impressive enough, Curry was able to continue to perform in the postseason. In the series against the Clippers, Curry averaged 23 points, 8.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds a game. Curry once again led the league in three pointers made and recorded four triple doubles this season.

Curry was joined by Tony Parker as the other guard on the All-NBA Second Team and Chris Paul and James Harden took up the guard sports on the All-NBA First Team. Harden received 502 total points and 73 first place votes, while Curry received 489 total points and 65 first team votes, which means only a few votes made the difference. Curry will surely use that as motivation to improve next season and rightfully earn his spot in the All-NBA First team.
