Steph Curry continues to have the best year of his career after winning the Foot Locker Three Point Contest. The Splash Brother showed up in the final round and put up 27 points, one of the best performances in history of the competition.
After a couple of attempts to win the three point contest, Curry finally got it done. The All-Star game is still left to be played and you know he’s going to want to put up a show in the Mecca of basketball, Madison Square Garden.
Even with all this success off and on the court, Curry remains that humble kid out of Davidson. The only difference now is that he’s cemented himself as one of the best in the league, but that doesn’t stop him from giving back. According to Bryant Barr from the Buzzkill Foundation, Curry purchased a group of teenagers in New York their own pair of the Curry One, his first signature shoe:

Curry has always done very well lending his hand to a good cause and he’s always active within the community. This is not a publicity stunt, this is Curry being himself, he’s always willing to help in more ways than one.
In this case, he just gave this group of kids a memory that will last forever. Not only do they get a nice pair of kicks, but they got the meet one of the best in the NBA, someone they can look up to and use as a role model.
Warriors fans now get to see Curry and fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson lacing them up in MSG for the All-Star game.
