NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors

The Warriors played an excellent game last night. They dominated on both ends of the floor and convincingly beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-91. This game was supposed to include two high potent offenses, but only one of them showed up to Oracle and the Warriors added another impressive victory to their resume.

Thunder head coach Scott Brooks has lost to the Warriors three times this season and he’s impressed by how well they are playing. According to Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area, Brooks had some nice things to say about the Dubs after the game:

“We didn’t have an off night. They outplayed us,” Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. “They made us not play well. They’re the best team in basketball.”

Brooks made it pretty clear that the Warriors simply outplayed the Thunder last night. The Thunder struggled last night and the Warriors made it look easy. Kevin Durant had scored 78 points in the first two games since he returned from the ankle injury he suffered against the Warriors on December 18th. He was held to 14 points on 3 of 16 shooting. The Warriors are executing on both ends and they maintained their lead throughout the course of the game.

On top of having the best record in the NBA, the Warriors are a joy to watch. Any basketball fan can appreciate their style of play. They are so unselfish and the ball is constantly on the move. The Dubs are playing the right way and it’s only going to get better when Andrew Bogut returns.
