The Golden State Warriors struggled in the offensive end last season, which is quite surprising given the amount of fire power they have on offense. This is why they brought in Steve Kerr, to generate an offense that would be a better fit with these group of players.
After nine games you could already tell the difference. This offense has shown the ability to overpower the opponent and the Hornets experienced their wrath first hand last night.

Kerr was pleased with his team’s offensive performance in their 112-87 win against the Hornets. It was a complete team effort, which is what Kerr expects from this offense. According to Jordan Ramirez, Kerr admits that when the offense is clicking, they don’t need to call plays for specific players.

The Warriors are so talented offensively, they don’t need to rely on one specific player to carry the offense on a daily basis. They move the rock a lot and they do so because as a team they all can knock down shots. When the ball is moving and they are not giving it away, the Warriors can beat you so many ways on the offensive end. They currently rank in the top 5 for points scored and lead the league in field goal percentage at 49 percent.
The Splash Brothers combined for 40 points last night, but role players also contributed with some big numbers. Harrison Barnes had 17, Andrew Bogut and Marreese Speights had 13 a piece, and Shaun Livingston and Festus Ezeli both finshed with eight points.
It will be hard to beat the Warriors if they continue to master this offense. As long as they can control the turnovers, the Warriors will be one of the most feared offenses in the NBA.
