Since buying the team in July 2010, Joe Lacob has helped turned this franchise around. The Warriors have no had much success in recent memory, but now are only three wins away from capturing an NBA title.

In order for a franchise to be successful there must be an ownership group willing to win at all costs. Lacob and company have done just that and the Warriors look to be a championship contender for years to come.

Lacob wants to win, but is also very appreciative of the great work this organization has done as a whole this season. According to Dieter Kurtenbach of KNBR, Lacob paid to have all the full-time employees in attendance in Game 3 in Cleveland:

Ethan Sherwood-Strauss of ESPN also added that the Warriors have booked 155 hotel rooms to accommodate all the employees:

What a great move by Lacob and the Warriors. All the attention is usually on the players and coaches, but it takes a lot of people to run a successful organization on a daily basis. Classy move, one that all owners should imitate.

Attending an NBA Finals game is a treat and if Game 3 is anything like the first two games of the series, the employees will not be disappointed. Then again, as long as the Warriors win, I don’t think they really care.

Good move Mr. Lacob, may other bosses around the world follow in your footsteps.
