We are about two weeks away from the NBA All-Star weekend, which will be held in the beautiful city of New Orleans this February.

The Warriors will be well represented in the Big Easy, with four players in the All-Star game. The Splash Brothers, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. Steve Kerr and his coaching staff will also be in attendance, coaching the Western Conference after earning the best record in the West.

In case that’s not enough, the Dubs will also have some participation on All-Star Saturday. According to Turner Sports, Klay Thompson will defend his three point shooting title:

The Warriors have won the last two three point shooting contests, with Steph Curry winning in 2015 and now Thompson will look to be the first person to repeat since Jason Kapono did it in 2007 and 2008.

Unlike the last two seasons, Thompson will not be competing against his teammate this year. Curry will not be participating in this year’s shooting contest, leaving the lone Splash Brother to bring back the trophy back to the Bay Area.

We already know that Thompson is one of the best shooters in the NBA, but if he’s in the zone, he can’t be beat. This season, Thompson is averaging 3.1 made three pointers per game, which is fifth best in the league.

Make sure you tune in on February 18th on TNT.
