Justin Holiday Summer League
Justin Holiday is having a pretty good week. He officially made the team a couple of days ago by beating out some talented individuals who could be an NBA roster in the near future. Holiday has worked hard to put himself in this situationaa. He’s played overseas and the developmental league, but he persevered and has now earned a place in the NBA.

As the 15th player on the roster, not much is expected of you. However, the Warriors enter the 2014-15 season with the injury bug. With Shaun Livingston and Brandon Rush battling injuries, Holiday is expected to play in the season opener according to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group:

Holiday proved he has the tools to be an effective perimeter player on both ends of the court. At 6-foot-6 with a 7-foot wingspan, Holiday can guard opposing wing players with great confidence. Holiday’s athleticism is one of his strong points and offensively he has really worked on his jumpshot, making him a real threat on the wing.

While the Warriors would want everyone to be healthy, this is a great opportunity for Holiday. He gets a chance to prove his worth early on in the season and earn a spot in the rotation.
