NBA: Denver Nuggets at Golden State Warriors

The Warriors are well on their way to capturing the best record in the NBA. A big reason for their success is their depth and it’s no secret that the Warriors have the deepest team in the league.

Head coach Steve Kerr has plenty of players to choose from, which is a good problem to have in the NBA. With the season winding down, it’s likely the Warriors will try to get their key players some rest to prepare for the post-season.

Well, the Warriors will have another athletic body to choose from as the season comes to an end. According to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Warriors have recalled James Micahel McAdoo from the D-League:

McAdoo has been tearing it up with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the D-League. He is averaging 19.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He has only appeared in four games this season, but he made the most out of his opportunity. On January 19th, he played 13 minutes against the Nuggets and finished with 11 points and five rebounds.

McAdoo is an un-drafted rookie out of North Carolina, but he has shown some upside during his time with the Warriors. He played well for the Summer League team that was coached by Kerr and is a great presence in the locker room.
