This upcoming season is huge for the entire Golden State Warriors team. The core is still together and the team is dreaming about repeating. With players playing in their roles and stepping up when necessary, the Warriors have proven to have it all.

In this offseason, Draymond Green grabbed an extension and will remain a member of the Warriors. For Harrison Barnes, this may be his chance at a huge pay day. He’ll go into contract negotiations with a new agent. Barnes and his agent, Jeff Wechsler has decided to part ways:

Wechsler was Barnes’ only sports agent, as he chose Wechsler after his departure from North Carolina. Wechsler also represents, NBA superstar, Kyrie Irving. There’s no information on who Barnes will sign with next, but changing of agents is a common business practice in the NBA. Within the last month, Jordan Clarkson, Marcus Morris, Joe Johsnon, LaMarcus Aldridge, and more players have changed agencies.

The Warriors have already admitted that their focus is to retain Barnes and Festus Ezeli. Last season, Barnes averaged 10.1 points and 5.5 rebounds a game while appearing in every game for the Warriors (103 total).
