Injuries are part of any sport and something that can derail your plans of becoming a professional athlete. For Nemanja Nedovic, injuries never allowed him to display his talents at an NBA level.

The Warriors waived him him a few days ago and it didn’t take long for Nedovic to find a new home. Through his twitter account, Nedovic tweeted that he’s headed to Spain to continue his basketball career:

Valencia is part of the Liga ACP and Euro League. Nedovic will get an opportunity to prove himself overseas and hopefully refine his skills at the point guard position. Everyone knows Nedovic has the athleticism to play in the NBA, but he has to work on becoming a better floor leader and hope he can remain healthy.
Nedovic was solid in the pre-season, but it wasn’t enough to convince management to keep him around. The Warriors could have kept him this year, but now Nedovic gets to play immediately and continue working on his craft. Don’t be surprised if he surfaces in the league in the near future.
