The Golden State Warriors have been wonderful to watch as a team. Its important that every players plays to their potential and fills in their role if this team wants to repeat as NBA Champions. Lately, Festus Ezeli hasn’t seen the floor and that’s because of a nagging knee injury. On Monday morning, the big man underwent a successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee; the reason for the surgery is to clear debris.

Ezeli will be out at least six weeks, and hopes to return in time for the Playoffs. After participating in 40 games, the center has averaged 7.5 points, and nearly 6 boards for the Dubs. Like Harrison Barnes, it’s also a contract year for Ezeli. In the past, Ezeli has missed the entire 2013-14 NBA Season with a right knee injury. Look for Marreese Speights and Jason Thompson to help Andrew Bogut reinforce the paint.
