David Lee Dribbling

The Warriors are riding an 11 game winning streak and for the first time, they hold the NBA’s best record all by themselves. All this happened without their starting power forward David Lee. Draymond Green’s energy, hustle, and improved shooting has helped filled the void left by Lee.

Originally he was set to return after his first hamstring injury but aggravated it again in his return game. Fans are excited to see what Lee can do to help this contending Warriors squad. Unfortunately, Lee’s second return is not here just yet. According to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group, Lee didn’t make the trip to Chicago:

Warriors fans and fantasy basketball owners will have to wait a bit longer. Speculation has led to many beliefs that Lee may return against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night. Last season, he averaged 18.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. It’ll be interested to see if Coach Kerr will reinsert Lee into the starting five or to have him off the bench with the second unit. As long as the Warriors can stay healthy through the post-season, this team has a legitimate shot at playing in June.
