Bogut2

Andrew Bogut was a vital piece for the Warriors championship run and will now get to play for his national team once again. As an extreme honor to represent your homeland, players live to play for their native people. The big Aussie will play later in the month to help Australia qualify for the Olympics.

He may run into Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Team USA in the Olympics. The USA is always a powerhouse and will be incredibly difficult to compete with. According to Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group Bogut will return:

Bogut, now 30 will play once again in international play.  In 2004, he started at the Athens Olympics, returned in 2008. He missed the 2012 Olympics but will return in 2016. Bogut will be joined by fellow NBA players, Dante Exum, Matthew Dellavedova, and Cameron Bairstow. This very well could be the strongest team fielded by the Boomers.

The team could’ve been scarier if they had San Antonio point guard, Patty Mills. He will miss the competition as he is currently dealing with a shoulder injury. The Aussies will miss his scoring ability and playmaking. The 2016 Olympics will be played in Rio, Brazil and has already picked up excitement.
