The Western Conference Finals are set to begin and not too many were expecting a Warriors vs Thunder matchup. The Warriors and Spurs were the two best teams in the regular season, but the Thunder pulled off the upset and now they get to face the defending champs as their reward for beating the Spurs.
After getting over the hump against the San Antonio, the Thunder will be coming into this series with a lot of confidence. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are a force to be reckoned with and their size could prove to be an issue for the Dubs in this series.
The Warriors are still the favorite to win this series, but this could be one of their toughest tests they will ever face. Luckily, Steph Curry looked great in Game 4 and 5 against the Blazers and should be back to full strenght for this series. The Warriors are the better team and unlike last season, they now know what it takes to win a Larry O’Brien trophy and that experience is priceless.
