Only a few players in the NBA can compete with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in a three point shooting contest. Sacramento Kings center, DeMarcus Cousins, was the first brave soul to challenge Curry and Thompson at the USA Basketball Training Camp. After taking care of Cousins, Thompson moved on to a much bigger challenge, Kyle Korver.

Korver will be entering his 12th season in the league an he is still one of the elite shooters in the NBA. Korver is deadly behind the arc and a formidable opponent for either “Splash Brother”. Korver led the NBA in three point field goal percentage last season, but both Thompson and Curry were in the top-11.

Thompson faced off against Korver in a three point shooting contest in a recent Team USA practice in Las Vegas. Each player shot from seven different spots behind the arc. Unfortunately, Thompson wasn’t able top Korver in the competition, losing in four of the seven spots. Thompson started well, but wasn’t able to stay consistent as the competition progressed.
