Stephen Curry has defeated Chris Paul in two major competitions this past month: the Western Conference Finals, and now Celebrity Family Feud.

With the Curry family coming out victorious, they were able to raise $25,000 for the Community Foundation of Sonoma County’s Resilience Fund.

The foundation focuses on helping families that have been impacted by the horrific wildfires that ravaged the area back in October 2017.

The Curry clan not only used their intellect for a great cause but delivered Chris another heartbreaking loss so soon after his last one.

This latest defeat might be even more brutal, though, since it didn’t just directly involve Chris, but also Chris’s loved ones.

While Steph is used to catching fire and willing a team to victory, he took a backseat to his wife during this competition.

Ayesha scored 194 points out of 200 in the Fast Money round, perfectly setting up Steph to seal the deal with the final 6 points.

With two of the NBA’s marquee superstars and their families squaring off, it makes sense that the ratings for this episode were excellent.

ABC ended up riding that star power to quite a successful night of Sunday programming relative to their other network broadcast competitors.

That episode of Celebrity Family Feud brought in 6.46 million viewers, which was the highest 8 pm total amongst network stations.

The Curry/Paul episode served as a great lead-in for The $100,000 Pyramid at 9 pm, which was also the highest rated show amongst network stations at that time slot.

ABC has that TV deal with the NBA, so the network is well aware of the type of audience these basketball stars can draw.

It’s nice to see the Curry family work together for such an important cause, and the fact that Steph can once again assert dominance over Chris in a competitive setting is just a bonus.
