The professional basketball writers association have honored Stephen Curry with the Magic Johnson Award which recognizes the player who basically treats the media and fans in the most “dignified” way possible.
The PBWA is made up of writers from media outlets all over the country. Winners have included players such as Ray Allen, Grant Hill and Steven Nash.
Other finalists include teammate Draymond Green, Damian Lillard, Paul Milsap and surprisingly, Carmelo Anthony of the Knicks.
