NBA: Orlando Magic at Golden State Warriors

Steph Curry is evolving into a major superstar. He is popping up in magazine covers around the world and he is letting his game do all the talking. Curry is quick to ignore all the glitz and glamour of being an emerging NBA superstar and is focusing on winning games.

Curry is one of the most modest players in the NBA, but he was really happy about landing on the cover of “Backyard Sports NBA ’15”, a game he played growing up:

Day 6 Sports Group is re-launching the popular Backyard Sports after it was discontinued a few years ago and now Curry will be their poster boy. Curry is the first NBA player to sign on with the franchise, but the NBA is on board as well.

According to the press release that Day 6 Sports sent out, Curry is happy to be part of the team:

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has joined forces with Day 6 Sports Group as the face of the Backyard Sports Basketball line and is the first NBA player to sign an endorsement deal with the franchise.

“I grew up playing Backyard Sports, and having an opportunity to help bring it back to this generation of children is something I’m really thrilled about,” said Curry.

Curry is one of the good guys in the NBA and he’s the best person to represent the Backyard Basketball franchise. The game will be much more accessible than it was in the past. You no longer need a gaming console, it will also be available for smart phones and tablets.

The game is scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2015, so we have to wait a little bit to get our hands on it. It will be fun playing next to Steph Curry as we try to claim the Backyard League B-Ball Championship.
