Steph Curry had an incredible Game 5 performance. After struggling in the first few games of the series, Curry finished the game with 37 points. The MVP scored 17 points in the final period to secure the win for the Dubs.

It was not all good news for the Warriors. According to Sam Amick of USA Today, Curry was not feeling well after the game and could be dealing with dehydration:

Curry had his best game of the series and it seems it took a lot of him. This game was crucial for this franchise and in the biggest stage, Curry delivered in crunch time. It’s definitely concerning for the best player on the team to be dehydrated, but it’s not something that’s going to keep him out of Game 6.

Amick’s latest tweet confirms that he is indeed dealing with dehydration, but the Warriors expect him to be just fine. He was watching highlights of himself, so his concern right now is on the series, which is a good sign.

After a long 82 game season, the Western Conference playoffs and these NBA Finals, it’s only natural that these players are tired and their bodies are feeling it. As long as he gets hooked up to an IV, Curry should be fine.

Game 6 could be a historic game and the Warriors need their MVP healthy and ready to go.
