All-Star Weekend is quickly approaching and the Golden State Warriors are well represented. Not only will the Splash Brothers be participating in Sunday’s All-Star game, but Steve Kerr and his coaching staff will represent the West. Klay Thompson and Steph Curry will also participate in the Three Point Shoot-Out, so you will get to root for your Warriors all weekend long.

Under Armour wanted get Curry prepared for the intense competition he will face in the 3-Point Shootout, including fellow teammate Klay Thompson. UA partnered up with Foot Locker to give the leading All-Star vote getter some practice before he heads to New York.

Kenny Mayne from ESPN was the special guest host and Curry’s coach on his road to redemption. Curry, will go down as one of the best shooters of all time, but has never won the 3-Point Shootout. Mayne would bring out four challengers and each one individually would challenge Curry.

The first contestant was seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry, who was also known for his clutch 3-pt shooting. Unfortunately for Horry, he’s been retired for several years now and the shooting stroke was not there. The same could be said for contestant number 3, Tim Legler, a once heralded three point shooter was no match for Curry.

It seemed like Curry was going to breeze by the competition, until 10 year old Jaden Newman walked into the gym to face the Splash Brother. Newman came in confident and even had some trash talk up her sleeve well before the competition started. Without watching her shoot, you would bet your mortgage that Curry would easily beat a 10-year old girl.Curry and pops

Well, you would have lost your house. Jaden would end up with the score of 16, while Curry would come in at 15. This is quite an impressive feat and just by watching her shoot, you can tell she’s going to be a great basketball player in the future. I am sure Geno Auriemma is already recruiting her to go to UConn.

Fortunately, Steph has one more competitor left and he wanted to leave with a win. Who was up next? Well, the person who taught Steph everything he knows, his father Dell Curry. Steph is an amazing shooter, but he got it from his father. Dell would give his son quite a scare. The elder Curry would score more than any other challenger, he had 18. The loss to 10-year old Jaden woke Steph up and he beat his dad by scoring 24. His dad couldn’t believe it.
